Our Communities
The County of Renfrew is an upper tier municipality comprised of the federation of 17 lower tier municipalities which we provide municipal services to all of them and Renfrew County geographically also includes the City of Pembroke and the Algonquins of Pikwàkanagàn First Nation. Each community has a Mayor or Reeve who represents their municipality at the County level as a County Councillor. Renfrew County is the largest county in Ontario, spanning 7,358 square kilometres along a 220 km stretch of the Trans Canada Highway.
